FaLL 2008

We took new fall pictures today and I was excited to get them posted. I love fall and every year I anxiously await the turn of the leaves so I can have the perfect backdrop. My grandpa's barnyard makes the BEST background shots for my kids. I have taken pictures of my kids at the barnyard and river since they were born and it is so fun to compare each year how they have grown. My good friend Becca helped us take some shots. I'm anxious to see what other pics she has for us. As for now, this is what I took. I promised Luke a trip to Elmo's (candy store in Woodville) if he smiled big for the camera. Let me tell you....he is my child who absolutely refuses to smile let alone LOOK at the camera. He did AWESOME! Jake is not fond of the camera either...we just have to make him say "Football" and he is all smiles. Allysa....well, as you can see, she was born for the camera!

~~ FlaG FooTBall ~~

Finally! Jake has waited SO long....and he had his first week of FlaG FooTBall! As much fun as tackling the other team would be, they are learning proper technique and the rules of football as they chase after the other team's flag. Jake's anticipation for the sport was followed by pure shock that he was actually playing it. It has been so fun watching him do something that he loves. His dad is helping coach so that has been fun for him too.

~!GO BOISE BRONCOS!~

With three touchdowns in the first half, the BOISE BRONCOS had quite the lead! There defense held their ground and they StomPed Ohio with a 20-7 lead. It was awesome! The BLUE turf was just as we had imagined. Jake was in awe the first half of the game. He pretty much was expressionless and barely moved. After we fed him some sugar at halftime, he perked right up. The seats we had were as if we were hovering over the field. I'm so thankful we did not have Luke with us. That would have sent me into a nervous breakdown! If you've ever been to a Boise game...then you have to admit you have witnessed the "BRONCO TAILGATING." You should have seen us with our train of five darting through the crowd. We made it to the car without too much damage thank goodness. It was an AWESOME experience!

FOOTBALL!

It is NOW football season and Jake is SO excited! Drafts were done tonight for flag football and we will be starting soon with that. He is has anticipated this for so long! We have the opportunity to attend a Boise State game this weekend with Trevor and Tag and he is SO excited! We will post that L8R!

Luke on the FaRm!

We were out at the barnyard the other day and I had to take a few shots of LUTE!

~FaIR TiMe~

Allyson and I wanted our kids to get a whole day in on "wristband" day so we actually SLUFFED school and took them to the fair! CRAZZZZZYYYY!!! I am pretty sure I have that out of my system....until next year that is I'm sure. I spent WAY too much money! AND...have you noticed ALL of the fair rides go around in circles...and FAST! Well, we were all sick! Not fun! Chelese met up with us at 2ish and we continued on the rides, revisited the photography, got our faces painted, ate more, listened to music, and revisited the petting zoo. We AmaZINGly stayed there from 11 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. WITH 7 children! And we didn't even lose anyone! Cienna's feet were broken, yet amazingly they were miraculously healed upon arrival at the petting zoo, a sweet baby goat preferred Luke's stroller wheels to someone actually hand feeding it REAL food, and Lys insists she is saving all of her pennies in order to buy a sweet puppy at the petting zoo next year. Well, another year survived.

School Starts

So...I missed the famous FIRST day of school...although I have it forever etched as a memory in my head. My battery was dead as I thought of grabbing my camera. I had the perfect shot. It was a crisp cool morning as I watched my two babes walk off from me through the back with their new backpacks and clothes on....so excited for that first day. A few steps away, they both turned and looked, smiled, and waved. Ah well, a day or two later I got a couple other shots....
