Boise State Broncos VS Hawks

Lucky us...Trevor bought season tickets this year. I knew we would have a blast going, but I do not think we fully realized the amount of pure enjoyment and bonding we would receive from this. The kids, especially the boys (including Trevor) have had THE BEST time attending the games (two so far). Trevor's brother Taggart and his girlfriend Daina also have two tickets. Both games have been full of excitement. It has been especially fun to have our seats down on the North end zone as at least 1/2 of the game is played right under our noses. We had the opportunity at the last game to meet up with a few of the players...and they just so happened to be our FAVORITES! Well, at least half of them. We will have to work on the others on the next game. Trevor's long-time friend has a nephew playing this year. He is a starting Freshman as linebacker, J.C. Percy (#48). He originally is from Blackfoot and played all through high school. The boys loved meeting him and getting his signature on their jerseys, hats, and football along with Jeron Johnson (#23), Kyle Wilson (#1), and Darrell Akery. Stay tuned as there will be plenty of more game pics to follow. Oh...and Lys and I even LOVE this. I surprisingly find myself really getting into the games. What a great way to spend a few fall evenings! I also got to see my bestie Cami....she provided us with a yummy hamburger during half time.

~FAMILY~

We had a little summer BBQ the other night...here are some fun pictures. I should share right now how fortunate I feel to have the sisters, brother, brother-n-laws, nieces, nephews, mom, and dad that I have. Life is RICHER because of them. I LOVE my family...my husband, my children, my pets! HOME is where MY heart is!!!

ABBA Correction....

K...so we found out it really wasn't the ORIGINAL Abba....DUH! But, it was A COVER of ABBA that have been singing for like twenty years putting on COVER shows of ABBA. The point is though...we got to hear the original ABBA songs and it sounded EXACTLY like them. AND...it was FUN! Here are a few more pics from Park City with the kids...we had so much fun and the kids were SO cute!

~Island Park 2009~

We spent 4th of July up at Island Park this year. We headed up Wednesday afternoon and got there about 5pm. The kids had a blast on the four-wheeler and trying to fish. Trying because there were ONE MILLION (no exaggeration) mosquitos. We were literally inhaling them. Taggart and Jake would not give up on catching fish so they spent the most time down at the water. Funny/not so funny thing was...Jake had over 20 bites and Tag had NONE. We told Jake it must have been because he smelled so SWEET! That evening, just as we were about to shut the lights down, Luke came down the stairs catching the blood dripping from his head...or should I say pouring. Have you ever had a head wound? Apparently they bleed like crazy the first 10 minutes. I know that now...but then I thought for sure he would lose it all. I panicked....and Trevor stayed calm. Lucky for me Trevor handled the whole situation like a pro. We got some rags, loaded up my baby, and headed to Rexburg. We were there until 2:30 a.m. with FOUR kids. Trevor was amazing with Luke...he never left his side and he carried him the whole time. Probably a good thing as I was not trusting myself to NOT fall over during the whole event. Three hours, a CT scan, and 18 stitches later we all loaded up and headed back to the cabin. That was the only thing Luke was worried about...is whether we were going back or not. We all re-learned/learned the song of "NO MORE Monkeys Jumping On The Bed" and Luke still sings it to this day. The day after the stitches you would not have thought anything was wrong with him other than he had tape wrapped around his head. I heard a big thud from upstairs and immediately went to investigate. Luke quickly said he was not "jumping ON the bed....just OFF the bed." As Ashlee said, "this is probably not my first trip to the Emergency Room with this kid." Unfortunately, I fear she is correct. We continued our weekend hanging out with Kam's family and Grama and Poppy. Luke still remembers the blood and how scary that was. He says..."Mom, do you remember when I broke my head? That really FREAKED me out!"
