HERE CoMes PeTer CoTTonTail......

Happy Easter! This year we had Easter/Sunday dinner out at my mom's in Woodville. The kids absolutely LOVE being out at grandma's and experiencing the country living. Luckily, the weather pulled through and we were able to have dinner and play outside the entire evening. The kids had fun throwing the softballs, riding the bikes, and riding the horse. We even had a basketball game and a softball game out in the field. My niece Hannah has a MIGHTY fast pitch. The kids tried to be brave and wack the ball, but when you see her wind up and shoot that ball towards you, your first instinct is to either duck or run! WE cannot wait to watch her this summer. She is aMazing! Thanks to Allyson for saddling up Lily so the kids could ride her. I think it was Tag's first horse ride so we had a lot of fun with pictures and watching that fun experience. He did GREAT and loved it. The kids had an Easter Egg Hunt. I think we all had more fun making sure the 3 babies (Luke, Layney, and Soph) found eggs...even the bigger kids enjoyed that. The food was excellent. My mom had been collecting recipes and we tried out some interesting dishes. I think the biggest hit was Cooked Yams with bananas and COCONUT! Yummy! Thank you Mom! The colors were perfect for pictures...I loved the blue sky with clouds and the green grass (finally)!
