~Lagoon~

Here are some quick pics of our Lagoon trip this summer. We missed the rides when at Lagoon for Allysa's dance performance. Did we tell you it was literally raining cats and dogs that day? Well...we took them down the next weekend to make up for it. We ran around all day catching as many of the big rides as we could. All in all, I think we made up for the rainy day quite well!
Tag was literally "FREAKING OUT!" However, he stopped to smile for the picture. Way to go TAGGY for riding the roller coaster!
Jake & I literally at the TOP of the roller coaster! So fun!

~Lukey~

Aw - Lukey! What can I say. He keeps us on our toes. Every day is unique with this little kiddo. We love his new haircut! I think it may have even added to his personality if you can believe it! Not sure where this picture was taken...but everytime I look at it the picture reminds me of his true personality. What pretty blue eyes! And what a messy face he has! Taggart and he make quite the team! Funny, they look quite a bit alike...and even have the same hair!

~Jake Baseball Spring 2009~

Although over...I cannot go without posting a few fun pictures of Jake playing baseball. He was able to pitch the first inning. He took it very seriously! He did great! I cannot wait to watch him progress and grow with baseball....as with football (soon). He is the sweetest boy...so serious...so determined. I admire a lot that Jake possesses.

~Lys's Dance Recital April 2009~

Allysa performed in another dance recital put together by her favorite dance teacher Miss Jill Searle. Believe it or not, I started with Jill her first year of teaching dance...and here is my 10 year old now in fourth year with Jill. I am late with posting, but here are a few shots of her before the recital. Our pretty girl....

~LuKey's HairCut!~

We finally did it....Luke got a haircut. I guess it is a long time coming. Of the three of my kids, and in fact more than any other little kid I have known, Luke's head SWEATS! So...before summer hit, I figured we better cut the poor little kid's hair. We started gradual with a nice messy bob. In a month or so, both Luke and Jake will be sporting a SpiKe! He was first in the chair but then decided that getting your hair cut was "BAD!" Lys decided to show him how to do it and she proceeded to get TEN inches chopped off her hair. She willingly donated it to "Locks of Love." How exciting! Lys LOVES her new haircut. Ali did a GREAT job. Luke was next and after a small bribery of a NEW Transformer, he was ever so willing to sit in the chair. While chomping the 5 pieces of gum he snuck from Ali, little Luke got his first hair-do.

Luke saying "THIS IS BAD!"

~Anansi~

Allysa had the opportunity to perform in another school play this year. She was one of four narrarators in a play called "Anansi." It was a fun play about African Folk Tales. I think the kids learned a lot and they also had a lot of fun. Her two cousins Sage and Kat were also in it. Allysa is always fun to watch. We are so proud of her and all of her many accomplishments!

~Dance Competition~

The weekend of May 2nd, Allysa performed in a dance competition at Lagoon. Trevor and I, Lys, Kat, Jake, and Tag all headed down to watch along with taking in a day of exciting rides. However, it was raining CATS and DOGS! We bagged it and headed to lunch and then to the mall. We are driving South tomorrow to re-use our tickets and enjoy a fun-filled day at Lagoon. Wish us luck! BTW...Lys's class got 2nd place! Sadly...this is the best picture of Lys on stage that I got.
