LUTE!

Here is Luke getting SOOOOO big! My baby is growing up so fast. He never slows down enough to smile for the camera. In fact, he really isn't a fan of the camera. HE has zero time or tolerance for it. There is just way too much in life to do and way too much energy to slow down long enough to look the direction of the flash. This is my latest favorite of Luke.....shows his true sweet smile....sincere. I caught him this time!

Just showing off my beautiful boy! Even though it is hard to get a smile out of this one....he totally laughed after this picture was taken. He was trying to "pose" as a tough ornery boy. Mama can see right through that though at the sweet, kind, soft heart he has. Jake has been working at his football and basketball skills like crazy this summer. I have heard that he has a "Joe Montana" arm...so I'm so anxious to see him out on that football field this summer. Stay tuned for updates there!

American Idol YO!

I have such a great opportunity working with a group of WONDERFUL gals! We all anticipate January and start of American Idol. Each week, we all share our opinions and thoughts on the week's performances. It was so fun keeping up with everyone and sharing in the excitement of the great talent that this year's show had. This is the second year that I have shared in the experience of attending the American Idol Tour Concert with the girls from the office. Our awesome boss let us shut down the clinic for a day as he knew how important this was for us. Plus...a day away with your "girls"...is VERY good therapy! Next year I plan on taking Lys and Jake as they are just as much into this as I am! I felt quite guilty being there without them!For those of you whom are SO INCLINED to care about the contestants....here are some shots I got of each one. It was really neat to see all of them perform! Of course I have my favorites, but they were all really good!

Never a Dull Moment

Nothing like a two year old with a personality! Luke knows exactly how to entertain us. He is our little clown. Such a soft sweet heart this little person has...and he knows just how to cheer anyone up. Look at what he can do with a little "cowboy stuff."

Playing at the Park

We all know summer is for playing and fun! Luke has some lil neighbors that he just thoroughly enjoys. Timmy and Kai! We had fun at the park a bit ago and I'm just getting to posting the pictures. I didn't think it would be hard to throw a post or two in here and there, but it really is!

Summer Softball

Both Allysa and Jake are in softball this summer. It seems there is always something to keep us busy. They both are doing great and are enjoying it. It is good to get some exercise and give us reasons to go hang out at the park. Allysa is on the same team as her cousin Charlie. It is fun to watch both of them play together. Luke has caught on that the park is within walking distance and chasing him back and forth has become my exercise!
